Laverne Cox and Ronnie Kroell are joining Alexis Arquette as Celebrity Marshals at Boston Pride's 2010 celebration, "40 Years: Riots to Rights."

Cox made history as the first African American transgender woman to appear on an American reality show with her role as a finalist on VH1's "I Want to Work for Diddy." She accepted a Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Award for her participation in the show, which led to the formation of her own makeover series, "TRANSform Me," based on an original concept by Laverne and her partners at her production company, Complete World Domination. Cox has guest-starred on "Law & Order," "Law & Order: SVU," and HBO's "Bored to Death." She has also starred in films Bronx Paradise, The Kings of Brooklyn, and Daughter of Arabia.

Kroell appeared on Season One of Bravo's "Make Me a Supermodel." The openly gay model came away as the show's runner-up, but recipient of the "Fan Favorite" prize. Since "Make Me a Supermodel," Kroell has been working the runway in New York City for designers such as Philip Sparks, Loris Diran, Malan Breton, and Richie Rich, and has been the featured cover model for both Instinct and Next magazines. He'll appear as the centerfold in the July 2010 issue of Playgirl. Meanwhile, Kroell is pursuing a political science degree from The New School, developing a new fragrance, and filming a new reality TV drama that marries "Queer as Folk," "Sex and the City," and "The Hills."
