Calvin Klein's Boy Toy Busted for Assault, Cocaine

Nick Gruber, the 22-year-old boyfriend of fashion designer Calvin Klein, 69, was arrested after assaulting a man who he took home after a party, the New York Post reported.

Gruber, an ex gay-porn star, punched Calvin Swint, 20, who is allegedly interning for New Jersey Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D). The incident occurred on April 24 around 4:20 a.m. on the balcony of Gruber's Greenwich Village penthouse, which is located in Manhattan, adjacent to Chelsea.

Sources told the newspaper that Gruber was resisting arrest by shoving his hands in his pants to avoid being handcuffed. The authorities then searched the former porn star and found cocaine in his underwear (no mention of the brand of underwear).

Although Klein and Gruber have had an off-and-on relationship, a source for the Post said, "Calvin paid his rent two years upfront, and was just saying how happy he was in the relationship."

Gruber is facing three criminal charges -- assault with intent to cause physical injury, resisting arrest and possessing a stimulant.

Swint, however, told the Post that he was not planning on pressing charges.

"I don't want to be involved in any of this. We're good friends, end of story," he said. "Everybody expects Nick to be somebody. He's a great guy, he's a funny guy -- he'll make it, he was talking about going to college. I'm absolutely not in a relationship with him. He's like my brother, so if he was angry, I could understand why he could take it out on me," Swint continued.

"We all get depressed sometimes. I feel for him. No one else was on the balcony, just us. It happened, and then I left. I felt embarrassed... I've never been in a fight before. I went downstairs, and the doorman asked if they should call the police because my eye was bleeding...I'm sorry this happened."

Ben Brafman, Gruber's lawyer, said he is "confident" that the chargers "will be dismissed."

Dating porn stars seems be the latest trend for fashion designers as Marc Jacobs recently confirmed his relationship with Harry Louis -- a 24-year-old Brazilian gay adult actor, Minute 15 points out. Gawker also notes that before Louis, Jacobs dated "rentboy" Jason Preston and had a fling with porn star Erik Rhodes.
