HIV/AIDS Organization Broward House Announces Red Ribbon Award Honorees

Broward House, South Florida's oldest and largest HIV/AIDS community service organization announced the list of recipients who will be honored Wednesday, October 31 during a luncheon at the Hyatt Regecy Pier 66 as part of the annual South Florida Red Ribbon Awards.
This years honorees include:
George Castrataro - Community Activist and Attorney; Carol Moran - Business Owner and Community Activist; Susan Renneisen - Vice President Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino; Jasmin Shirley - Vice President of Community Health Services, Broward Health; Dean Trantalis - Former Ft. Lauderdale Vice Mayor, Community Activist and Attorney
"Broward House is a community treasure that has left a lasting legacy in the countless lives of the thousands touched and impacted by the dedication and commitment of their staff and volunteers. As a former public health professional, I had the opportunity to work with Broward House and was amazed by the integrity and perseverance rooted in the Broward House culture and mission," Castrataro said. "Nearly twenty years have passed since my public health days and Broward House continues to grow, serve and inspire each of us. I am humbled and honored to be recognized by this amazing organization!"
Director of Development and Public Relations for the Broward House, Terry DeCarlo, said in a prepared statement. "We are very happy to have such a distinguished list of individuals this year. All of these individuals have gone above and beyond in their efforts to secure the lives of those in South Florida living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS and we are proud to recognize their efforts"
The Awards Luncheon will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will consist of a three course gourmet lunch, a pre-lunch meet and greet, a silent auction, and a special guest speaker. Tickets are $40 per seat, and named tables of 10 are available. Visit BrowardHouse.org/ribbon.html
