Orbitz Take Vacation Back Marriage Equality Photo Contest

Got a Camera? Like to Travel? In celebration of progress made in marriage equality around the globe, Orbitz has launched the "Take Vacation Back" photo contest that will award winners flights to domestic and international cities with marriage equality including NYC, Seattle, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Paris and many others.

In a recent statement, the online travel giant states, "As the only online travel company to have a perfect Corporate Equality Index Score from the Human Rights Campaign and a signatory to the Amicus Brief supporting the challenge to the Defense of Marriage Act, we applaud the Supreme Court decision." The statement further goes on to say, "Orbitz has a long-history and deep commitment to promoting tolerance, non-discrimination and equality as an integral part of our employment practices as well as our marketing efforts."

The contest, which runs now through July 31 gives entrants the opportunity to submit their photos in five categories which include: Wedding/Honeymoon, Family Fun, Pride, Urban Escape, and Outdoor Adventure.

In keeping with the company's long-standing policy of inclusion for all, Orbitz is welcoming everyone to submit photos, gay or straight.
