Photos Released Of Three Suspects Wanted in Jan 1 Manhattan Anti-Gay Attack

The NYPD is are looking for three men in connection with the January 1st assault on a gay man in the Gramercy Park area of Manhattan. Police are investigating the incident as a possible hate crime. Metro.us reports.
The incident occurred around 3 AM on January 1. The victim, 27, whose name has not been released by police, and another man 34, were walking on 1st Avenue near 15th Street when they were accosted by a trio of men who allegedly shouted anti-gay slurs at the pair, then assaulted the 27-year-old, leaving a bruise on the side of his head.
Surveillance photos of the suspects have been released by police. They are believed to be white men in the 30's.
CBS New York reports that the case is being investigated by the NYPD Hate Crime Task Force.
