Viral Video: Complete Strangers' 'First Kiss'
Jason St. Amand READ TIME: 1 MIN.
A new video by filmmaker Tatia Pilieva has gone viral this week.
In the 3-and-a-half-minute video, titled "FIRST KISS," Pilieva pairs off 20 people and asks the strangers to kiss. With almost every pair, things start off awkwardly but then quickly transform into an amazing and touching, yet fleeting moment.
The variety of the "couples" includes old, young, gay and straight (but all very attractive). Most are hesitant to lock lips at first but once they make the plunge you can almost feel what they're feeling.
The black and white clip has gone viral. In just one day -- it was posted on March 10 -- it has gained millions of views. As of this writing, the video has nearly 3,750,000 views and 38,285 likes.
Since going viral, a number of publications have covered the video, including Gawker, the Huffington Post, the Independent, Time, the Mirror, Elle and several more.
