Nardicio Returns to The Grove with Underwear and Icons:: Dina Martina to Kick-Off 2014 Series

EDGE READ TIME: 1 MIN.

Daniel Nardicio, the wayward Ziegfeld of Fire Island returns to Cherry Grove this weekend for another season of Friday debauchery and Saturday - well, less debauchery.

Memorial Day Weekend in Cherry Grove gets into full swing Friday, May 23, with the summer's first edition of Nardicio's notorious weekly underwear party.

The evening promises more dancers, C-In2 underwear giveaways, massages by DN's "official rubbers" and sexy visuals by Marco Ovando and Ned Stressen Reuter in the erotic lounge. The pool will be open for skinny dipping at 2:00 AM.

Doors open at 11:00 PM - $15 cover charge at the door, or $10 with the password "cherry."

Saturday Night, Nardicio kicks off the 2014 season of his "Icon Series" with "Dina Martina: Soft Palate, Fallen Arches."

Martina, a tragic singer, horrible dancer and surreal raconteur debuted at Seattle's Center on Contemporary Art in 1989, instantly gleaning reviews that dubbed her "magically warped," "utter genius" and "unwittingly hilarious." Since then, she's packed venues in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto and London and shared the bill with acts ranging from Modest Mouse to Nina Hagen to Margaret Cho. Saturday marks Dina's second time performing on Fire Island, after years of Nardicio attempting to lure her away from her cushy sold-out Provincetown gigs.

It's a must see, with opening act Jett Adore from Chicago's Stage Door Johnnies!

Doors open at 8:00 PM for a 9:00PM curtain -
Tickets are $30 - $35 and can be bought at www.dworld.us

Both events take place at the Ice Palace in Cherry Grove.
