The Show Must Go On! Alan Cumming to Perform in P-Town Tonight

EDGE READ TIME: 3 MIN.

Good news and bad news -

The bad news: Liza Minnelli will be unable to appear tonight in Provincetown at her sold-out engagement with Tony-award winning actor, Alan Cumming.

The good news: Alan Cumming will be performing his "direct from Lincoln Center" one man show "An Evening with Alan Cumming" in its stead.

A statement from Crown and Anchor President and General Manager, Rick Murray reads:

DEAR FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS OF THE CROWN:

I have just received an email from Producer Daniel Nardicio that Liza Minnelli will be unable to join Alan Cumming for their scheduled August 4th performance in Provincetown. She is under strict doctors orders, prohibiting her from any travel and performances until she regains her health. Liza sends her sincere regrets that she will be unable to perform with her deal friend Alan Cumming and will miss seeing her fans and friends in Provincetown

HOWEVER THE SHOW GOES ON ..... AND WITH A BANG!!!!

The great news is that Alan Cumming is still extremely excited and committed to come to town to premiere his sold-out critically acclaimed one man show that debuted at Lincoln Center from the highly praised American Songbook Series. Alan will be accompanied by Emmy Award-winning composer / pianist Lance Horne. As you may know, Alan is currently reprising his Tony Award-wining performance as the Emcee in the sold-out revival of "Cabaret" directed by fellow Tony Award winners Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall.

THE CROWN AND ANCHOR IS BERY PROUD TO PRESENT THE AMAZING ALAN CUMMING ... IT WILL BE AN MAGICAL EVENING OF SONG AND MISCHIEF!!

This special engagement will continue to be a benefit for THE TREVOR PROJECT and Mr. Cumming will be donating a portion of his fee to support this wonderful cause

The new ticket pricing for
AN EVENING WITH ALAN CUMMING

will be as follows:
