A man was found dead Tuesday morning with his hands tied behind his back near an isolated nudist beach near Sydney, Australia, according to local police, the Daily Mail reports.

Police also say Jarrod Dark, 45, met up with two other men he first contacted via social media before he was found dead on a walking track to Werrong Beach, also known as Hell Hole Beach, located near Otford, which is south of Sydney.

Though police are unsure of how Dark died, they confirmed he met up with two men, aged 43 and 37, whom he met on social media. The two men are working with police on the investigation and they claim they were forced to restrain Dark who became violent. They then left Dark near the beach before they went to the hospital for head injuries suffered during the incident. The men also called the police about the altercation.

"There was an altercation which ultimately resulted in the death of Mr. Dark," Detective Inspector Tim Beattie told Daily Mail Australia. "He was held to the ground and restrained behind his back."

Beattie said Dark was not tied to anything when he was found.

Investigators have questioned the two men but both have been released without charge and police will continue their investigation.

Though a post mortem examination has been carried out, Dark's death has still not been confirmed.
