On Saturday, September 13, Boston's Dyke Night presents their Second Saturday with the Machine Back to School Party, an annual event that encourages guests to dress in their favorite school-themed attire, be it head mistress, slutty school girl, librarian or even gym coach.

"We started a Back-to-School themed event five years ago. It is fun costumed event that patrons really get into-the last even had over 800 attendees," said organizer Kristen Porter. "Past back to school outfit winners have included everything from a school nun to a librarian to gym teacher along with the usual school girl uniforms."

DJ Dena will have you endlessly dancing to seamless mixes full of intense energy (pop/dance/top 40). She is a signed music producer and well-known remix artist gaining her the reputation as one of the best DJs around.

The lounge features DJ Triana, who brings with her an international flair of beats. Her eclectic sets mix reggaton, samba, candombe and bachata with your favorite top '90s hip-hop hits, the best throwbacks and even some European hip-hop.

Second Saturday also features the uber-talented gravity defying pole dancers, gigantic dance floor, four pool tables, four bars, state of the art lighting and sound system along with your favorite queer staff and hundreds of friends new and old.

So dress up in your fall finery and head to Machine Nightclub for this annual event, featuring a best back to school costume contest, best in show and second and third place VIP passes.

"We have three prize packages including $50 cash for the best back to school outfit," said Porter.

Second Saturday @ Machine Back to School Party will be held from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. on Saturday, September 13 at Machine Nightclub, 1254 Boylston St. in Boston. MBTA Stop is Kenmore Sq., Green Line.
