Chicago Comedians Stand Up for Women's Reproductive Rights

Wendy Davis' iconic filibuster is still resounding, and women are still fighting for ownership of their bodies. On October 12, some of Chicago's most passionate comedians are literally standing up for Women's Rights. "Yes, And Filibuster" is an evening of comedy, music and dance, the proceeds for which will be donated to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

The evening's performers include The Sirens, Hey Ladies, Housebroken, Lange and Wancket, Maria Wojciechowski, McGarnackle, The Snack Boys and more, with dance by Movement Symposium. The fundraiser will also include a raffle and an art sale, with a featured drink at the bar.

The Planned Parenthood� Action Fund is a national not-for-profit organization with its main offices in New York City and Washington, DC. The Action Fund is the nonpartisan advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. The Action Fund engages in educational and electoral activity, including legislative advocacy, voter education, and grassroots organizing to promote the Planned Parenthood mission.
