PopUps: Guess the Song Jessica Lange Will Sing on This Week's 'Freak Show'

It's pretty clear that nearly every episode of "American Horror Story: Freak Show" is going to have a number-from-the-future. In episode one we saw Jessica Lange belt it to David Bowie's "Life on Mars?" and last week Sarah Paulson(s) sang a jazzy, sensual version of Fiona Apple's "Criminal."

But this week's "Freak Show" may top them all. The show's creator, Ryan Murphy, told fans in September that Lange would be covering a Lana Del Rey song at some point and it looks that moment is upon us.

According to pop music site Idolator, Lange, who plays Elsa Mars (the leader of a freak troupe and wannabe star), will take on a Lana deep cut: "Gods & Monsters."

The track comes from Lana's Paradise EP in 2012, and probably one of the more fitting Lana songs to perform on "Freak Show," though I was rooting for "Young & Beautiful" or even "Fucked My Way to the Top."

Still, it seems more appropriate than ever that "Freak Show" tips its hat to the baddest sad girl around -- she did just hold a show at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery after all.

Check out the low quality 15-second clip of Lange singing "Gods & Monsters" over at Idolator and watch the music video for track below:
