EDGE's Picks for the 2015 Tony Awards

EDGE READ TIME: 2 MIN.

As the 69th annual Tony Awards approaches this Sunday bringing to an official close one of Broadway's most active seasons in recent memory, EDGE's Managing Editor Bobby McGuire and Travel and Style Editor Matthew Wexler, both avid New York theatergoers, weigh in with their picks for the American theater's highest honor.

The 2015 Broadway season was a watershed year for the Great White Way with box office grosses topping $12 billion, which was more than all of the New York City sports franchises combined.

As with most Broadway showmosexuals, EDGE's Wexler and McGuire don't always see eye-to-eye on who should take home the Tony medallion in each category. What they do agree on is that "Fun Home," the musical version lesbian cartoonist's graphic memoir will go home with the most awards.
