Chicago Gay Women's Gathering Holds Lesbian Pregnancy Event

To assist lesbian women who want to become parents, Path2Parenthood is hosting a free, educational event about pregnancy and family-building options. Gay Women's Gathering will take place on Thursday, August 20, from 6:30- 8:30 p.m. at Women & Children First, located at 5233 N. Clark, Chicago, IL 60640.

The free event will cover critical information, such as finding, choosing and working with known and unknown sperm donors and choosing at home or medical office insemination. The event will also cover how to handle the emotional and legal concerns of building a family.

Faculty for the event include Dr. Angeline Beltsos and Dr. Laurence A. Jacobs of Fertility Centers of Illinois, Scott Brown of California Cryobank and Julie M. Tavoso of Law Offices of Julie M. Tavoso, LLC.

Dr. Beltsos and Dr. Jacobs have helped many lesbians realize their dream of parenthood. They believe that information and knowledge can help those who want to become parents make educated decisions. "Our goal is to help you achieve your dream of parenthood safely and securely," said Dr. Beltsos. ��
"Knowing your options can help you make the decisions that are right for you," added Dr. Jacobs.

Path2Parenthood, a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, is an inclusive, national fertility association committed to serving the LGBT community. While the event is focused on the lesbian community, all are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served and educational gift bags given to all participants.
