Gawker: Hack On Cheating Website Reveals Josh Duggar's 2 Accounts
EDGE null READ TIME: 2 MIN.
It's not been a great year for the Duggar family.
Back in May Josh Duggar was the subject of a scandal after InTouch Weekly reported he molested five young girls, including his own sisters, when he was a teen in 2002. The news hit the ultra conservative family hard, and as a result Josh Duggar was fired from his position with the anti-gay group Family Research Council and the family's TLC reality show "19 Kids and Counting" was eventually canceled.
While Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are allegedly pitching a new reality show in which they offer advice to young victims of sexual abuse, they may have to put their plans on hold as a new Duggar scandal rises.
Gawker reported Wednesday that Josh Duggar (yes, that Josh Duggar) apparently had two paid accounts on Ashley Madison, a website for married people to cheat on their partners. But thanks to a recent hack on the controversial site, Gawker looked at data online and found someone using a credit belonging to Josh J. Duggar "with a billing address that matches the home in Fayetteville, Arkansas owned by his grandmother Mary... paid a total of $986.76 for two different monthly Ashley Madison subscriptions from February of 2013 until May of 2015."
According to Gawker, Josh Duggar was using his Ashley Madison account, which had the username Josh_the-man, to find someone, who wasn't his wife, who was interested in a number of sex acts:
"Conventional Sex," "Experimenting with Sex Toys," "One-Night Stands," "Open to Experimentation," "Gentleness," "Good With Your Hands," "Sensual Massage," "Extended Foreplay/Teasing," "Bubble Bath for 2," "Likes to Give Oral Sex," "Likes to Receive Oral Sex," "Someone I Can Teach," "Someone Who Can Teach Me," "Kissing," "Cuddling & Hugging," "Sharing Fantasies," "Sex Talk."
Gawker also has a list of turn-ons Josh Duggar allegedly included on his profile to attract an extramarital partner:
"A Professional/Well Groomed," "Stylish/Classy," "Casual Jeans/T-shirt Type," "Muscular/Fit Body," "Petite Figure," "Tall Height," "Short Height," "Long Hair,""Short Hair," "Girl Next Door," "Naughty Girl," "Sense of Humor," "Imagination," "Creative and Adventurous," "Relaxed and Easy Going," "Aggressive/Take Charge Nature," "Confidence," "Discretion/Secrecy," "A Good Listener," "Good Personal Hygiene," "Average Sex Drive," "High Sex Drive," "Dislikes Routine," "Has a Secret Love Nest," "Disease Free," "Drug Free," and "Natural Breasts."
Gawker also reports Josh Duggar apparently set up a second account, with the username ready4thisdc, in 2014. The account was connected to his home in Maryland when he was working with the Family Research Council, lobbying against same-sex marriage.
Gawker points out the birthday listed in the hacked data for the first account is Feb. 3, 1988 and the birthday on the second account is March 2, 1988. Josh Duggar's actual birthday is March 3, 1988.
When the second account was purchased, a $249 fee was paid that went towards an "affair guarantee," which promises an affair within the first three months.
The two accounts overlap by a pay period of one month, Gawker reports. The second account was paid on a monthly basis from July 2014 through May 2015.
The Duggar family has yet to comment on the Gawker report.
