Hoda Kotb Hosts Event Honoring Lisa Kron & Jeanine Tesori of 'Fun Home'

On Thursday, October 15, The New York Women's Foundation (NYWF) will host its annual fall gala in The Grand Ballroom at The Plaza.�The annual gala convenes supporters of NYWF's mission to improve the lives of women and families throughout New York City, while paying tribute to the dynamic civic, artistic and corporate leaders whose work inspires and embodies those same ideals.

Hoda Kotb will serve as the Mistress of Ceremony at this year's gala honoring Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori, creators of the Tony Award-winning musical, "Fun Home"; Ambassador Samantha Power, U.S.�Ambassador to the United Nations; and corporate honoree, Citi (the award will accepted by Barbara Desoer, CEO of Citibank). The evening will also feature special performances from both the Brighton Heights Youth Orchestra and from the 2015 Tony Awarding-Winning Best Musical "Fun Home."
