Toy Story That Time Forgot

It's impossible to not succumb to the nostalgic adoration that has made the inhabitants of the animated world of Disney/Pixar's "Toy Story" franchise so lovable and worthy of revisiting again and again. In the latest installment of the continuing adventures starring Woody the Cowboy (Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) "Toy Story That Time Forgot" the classic characters clash with brand new set of fully accessorized action figures that are out to rule the toy room!

On a post-Christmas playdate, Bonnie brings her favorites including Woody, Buzz, and Trixie the Triceratops (voiced by comedian Kristen Schaal), but when they arrive at Mason's they discover that he's plugged into the latest video game console - another one of his holiday gifts - and has left his toy chest unattained giving the dangerously warlike Battlesaurs action figures free reign to plunder. No toy is safe as Woody and Buzz quickly learn.

Trixie becomes enamored with the leader of the action-dinos Reptillus Maximus (Kevin McKidd), but when she discovers that the Battlesaurs are about to commit Woody and Buzz to their "arena of death," Trixie has to find a clever way of helping Reptillus realize that he is much more than just a battling bruiser! The resulting chaotic rescue attempt is a wonderful reminder to all of us of the power there is in the imagination.

This "Toy Story" is unforgettable and worth revisiting more than once. The Blu-ray package comes fully loaded with Bonus Features that reveal the backstory used by the animators to develop the new characters, the Battlesaurs including the animated opening for their fictional TV series. Audiences also get an unprecedented look at the making of the animated film, with commentary from the film's director and team of animators all in action including their stop off at Comic-Con.
