AHF Music Video Puts Women in Control of Their Sexual Health

In late September, AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) released a mash-up music video parody of three of the most popular songs today by Rihanna ("Bitch Better Have My Money"), Demi Lovato ("Cool For The Summer") and Fifth Harmony ("Worth It") in support of empowered female sexual health.

Featuring guest performances by Hulu's East Los High star Vivian Lamolli, actress Corbin Reid and singer Katie Welch, AHF's "Boy Better Have a Condom, Cool with a Rubber, and We're Worth It" medley promotes a woman taking ownership of her sexuality and sexual health.

"We know that a lot of young women feel pressure to forego safer sex, especially when it's not a priority for their partner. Not enough women feel empowered to stand up for themselves," said Associate Creative Director Stacy Fong. "We created these characters of strong, powerful women to show young girls that protecting yourself is sexy. We want more women to take control of their own health in whatever way they feel is right for them."

The song "Boy Better Have a Condom, Cool with a Rubber, and We're Worth It" was written and produced by Danny Fernandez, star of AHF's hit music videos "Downtown Funk" (2015) and "(One Stop) Thrift Shop" (2013).

Directed by Adrian Anchondo, the video promotes the #UrVoiceUrChoice #protectyourlove hashtags to encourage social media conversation around female sexual health.

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), the largest global AIDS organization, currently provides medical care and/or services to over 485,000 individuals in 36 countries worldwide in the U.S., Africa, Latin America/Caribbean, the Asia/Pacific Region and Eastern Europe.
