Two words would have sufficed.

NBA star Rajon Rondo took to Twitter Monday to clarify his use of an anti-gay slur that landed him a suspension and prompted referee Bill Kennedy to publicly come out. Words such as "remorse,""regret,""apologize" or any synonym for "sorry" do not appear in Rondo's statement.

As reported by AP, Kennedy came out after Sacramento Kings guard Rondo directed the word "faggot" to him during a Kings game against Boston on December 3. He was suspended one game by the NBA for derogatory and offensive term toward a referee.

On Monday, Rondo took to social media to "clear things up." Note that he never apologizes.
