San Diego recording artists Danielle LoPresti and Alicia Champion officially released their first Christmas video, "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" on YouTube. The charming video is quickly becoming an online hit.

"As a multi-racial, same-sex, foster-adoptive family, Alicia and I are always seeking out examples in the media of other families like ours to share with our child," said LoPresti. "We looked online and per usual, didn't find a single video of a family that resembled ours... so we thought that since we have access to the resources, we could have some fun helping to fill that void."

LoPresti stars with her real-life spouse and child in this progressive interpretation of Tommie Connor's 1952 Christmas classic, directed by Asher Brown.

Real life couple Champion and LoPresti sing with their four year old son, Xander, and give a modern family twist on the familiar holiday classic. The song was originally recorded by Tommie Connor in 1952 and remains a holiday favorite.

LoPresti, who has shared the stage with artists such as Jamie Foxx, David Byrne, Cyndi Lauper, Juliette Lewis, and En Vogue with her band, Danielle LoPresti and The Masses, explained why she and Champion decided on making the video.

"We feel it is an important time to show others that family love comes in all different colours and formations," she said.

The song is the first single released off of LoPresti's new album "Winter's Light" which is scheduled to release in December on iTunes. Watch the video below!
