In Archie Comic Reboot, Jughead Comes Out As Asexual

The beloved and always hungry Archie Comics character Jughead Jones has some big news: he's asexual.
The creators behind the rebooted Archie Comics released a preview of this week's "Jughead" No. 4, where the iconic comic character acknowledges he is asexual in a casual conversation with his friend Kevin Keller, who is gay.
As Vulture points out, Archie Comics writer Chip Zdarsky spoke about Jughead's asexuality in September with in an interview with ComicBook.com.
"There have been iterations of Jughead over the decades where he has been interested in girls, so there's room to play around if someone was inclined. For me though, I like an asexual Jughead," he said. "That's more interesting to me than writing him as just being behind everyone developmentally."
