David Mixner Speaks on LGBT Civil Rights at Point Foundation Event

On Thursday, February 25 from 6-8 p.m., please join Point Foundation, the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students of merit, as we celebrate and help support the next generation of LGBTQ leaders. The February 25 event in Palm Springs is an opportunity to meet Point Scholars and Alumni and hear their extraordinary stories while enjoying cocktails and appetizers

An added treat will be the presence of David Mixner. Once named by Newsweek as the most powerful gay man in America, Mixner is a natural storyteller who will provide a first-person account of LGBTQ history from the perspective of a man who has lived it.

The event will be held in a private home. Event tickets are $75.
