Daniel Franzese, who you likely know for his roles in the cult classic "Mean Girls" and HBO's "Looking" series, is engaged, People magazine reports.

Franzese, 38, proposed to his partner Joseph Bradley Philips at a Starbucks in North Hollywood where the couple met for the first time, the actor's rep confirmed to People.

Franzese, who has been in a relationship with Philips for five years, had the whole thing planned out: When the couple arrived at the Starbucks, the actor sneakily gave a barista the engagement ring. Franzese previously spoke with the barista prior to popping the question to Philips.

When the barista called out the couple's coffee order, she referred to them as "Mr. and Mr. Franzese" and gave Philips a cup that their new title written on it.

When Philips, who is in fashion marketing, opened the cup, he found the ring inside and Franzese got down on one knee.

"Since I first saw you here, you have opened your heart to me, and I vow to God that for the rest of my life to honor and protect that heart if you will be my husband. Will you marry me?" Franzese asked his partner.

Of course, he said yes.

"Joseph has given me the best of his heart and I'm so happy he said yes," Franzese told People. "Finding my soulmate has made all the years I struggled with myself worth it."

"We can't wait to be Mr. & Mr. Franzese," he added.

In "Looking," Franzese plays Eddie, the love interest of character Agustin. Eddie, who is HIV-positive, volunteers at a homeless shelter for LGBT youth. Franzese's Eddie also appears in the upcoming "Looking: The Movie," HBO's film that concludes the canceled dramedy.
