Squirt.org Survey Shows Gay, Bi Men Like Their Olympic Sports Wet
READ TIME: 1 MIN.
They're hot, toned, young and often either wet or sweaty. They shower together and occasionally hop in the hot tub in between dives and vault with big poles. What's not to love?
Earlier this month, gay hook-up website Squirt.org surveyed their members and found out what gay and bisexual men will be watching during the Olympic games in Rio this week. The results were far from surprising. Swimming, diving, track and field events scored highest marks.
"Our members have spoken and the most popular Olympic sports are undoubtedly the sexiest to watch," said Attila Szatmari, digital business director for Pink Triangle Press, Squirt.org's parent company. "Swimming tops our poll and it's not surprising given the amazingly fit and great-looking athletes who compete and often turn around to become media personalities with great endorsement deals and modeling contracts!"
In the new study, thousands of Squirt.org members overwhelmingly chose swimming as the top Olympic sport to watch at Rio with 72 percent of those polled saying they would be watching the competition. Diving took second place with 70 percent, followed by track events at 60 percent. Swimming continued to dominate the poll with relay and medley securing fourth and fifth place, followed closely by athletic field events, beach volleyball, swimming marathon and artistic gymnastics. All of these events including Greco-Roman wrestling rounded out the top 10 most popular Olympic events in the survey.
