The 'Gay Bachelor' Opens Up About His Escort History: 'The Past is the Past'

The star of the gay dating show "Finding Prince Charming" has been the subject of media reports after a decade-old profile on the now-defunct website Rentboy.com surfaced online, along with nudes and explicit videos.

While the prince charming in question, Robert Sepulveda Jr., has kept quiet about the profile and x-rated content during his press tour for the reality show, the 33-year-old interior designer finally responded to the rumors in a new interview with The Huffington Post - albeit a very brief response.

"The past is the past. I was young and it helped through college," he said. "But what I want people to focus on is who I am today as an entrepreneur, as an activist. I started a non-profit and, you know, focusing on the show. That's really what I want people to focus on."

"Finding Prince Charming" host Lance Bass, who has been accompanying Sepulveda Jr. on the tour, added to the prince charming's response.

"We all have our past. I was in a boy band. I'll admit it," the former *NYSNC member told HuffPo.

Sepulveda Jr. went on to say "Finding Prince Charming" helped him deal with the negative feelings he has about his past.

"The show allowed me as well to close a lot of chapters in my life that I felt a lot of guilt around, a lot of shame and a lot of things I thought I couldn't share and express," he said.

"Finding Prince Charming" premieres on Logo Sept. 8 at 9 p.m. EST.
