Maybelline announced this week it signed social media maven and blogger Manny Gutierrez as the makeup company's first male spokesmodel, Elle reports.

Boasting an impressive 3 million followers on Instagram, 2 million subscribers on YouTube and 513,000 followers on Twitter, Gutierrez, a.k.a. @mannymua733, is known for his makeup tutorials, which he first started posting in July 2014.

Gutierrez will star in Maybelline's "That Boss Life" campaign, which promotes Big Shot Mascara alongside Instagram beauty blogger Shayla Mitchelle (a.k.a. @makeupshayla) and sweepstakes winner Jackie Flowers, Elle reports.

"I'm thrilled to be able to work with a global brand like Maybelline that is recognizing male influencer talent and is willing to shine a spotlight on it," Gutierrez said.

The move from Maybelline comes after CoverGirl revealed in October James Charles would be the company's first "CoverBoy." The teen went viral last fall after his fabulous high school yearbook photos were posted on social media.
