Anti-LGBT Hate Group Uses Anti-Disney Hysteria to Crowd-Fund Christian Cartoon with Queeny Character
READ TIME: 1 MIN.
And you thought the GOP's Obamacare replacement sucked.
Anti-LGBT hate group American Family Association (AFA) was one of the first "Christian" groups to hop on the anti-"Beauty and the Beast" bandwagon this month over the inclusion of a subtle gay subplot involving one of the film's minor characters.
And although the hate group is telling followers to keep the kids away from the highly anticipated family film, they've come up with a swell replacement that they want their minions to crowdfund. To make matters worse, parents will have to explain to their kiddies that the replacement movie won't be ready for over a year.
"Disney wants to normalize homosexuality in its productions. Say no to Disney's actions!" a message on the AFA website warns.
"In response to Disney's efforts to promote the LGBTQ agenda to our children, AFA is proud to announce its commitment to co-produce a new animated film of one of the most impactful stories ever written, 'The Pilgrim's Progress'. Join with us in a generous contribution to make this Film possible," reads an appeal by AFA. "Film is scheduled to release summer, 2018."
"The Pilgrim's Progress" animated film presumably follows the same plot of the famed 1678 Christian allegorical novel.
A clip released of the film in progress features one of the novel's key characters, Mr. Worldly Wiseman, who sounds surprisingly queeny.
