Mommy Blogger Cancels Family Trip to Disney World Over 'Gay Moment' in 'Beauty and the Beast'

It looks like Disney World isn't the happiest place on earth after all.
A mommy blogger from Louisiana reportedly called off her family vacation to Disney World after learning the live-action remake of "Beauty and the Beast" has, what she calls, an "exclusively gay moment," the British tabloid The Sun reports.
Brooke Poston, a 24-year-old mother of two, said earlier this month she is boycotting Disney because the company and its theme park don't match up with her personal beliefs. In a blog post from This Modest Mom, called "Disney's LGBT agenda forced me to cancel our Disney World Vacation- Boycott Disney," Poston said she booked a trip to Florida after her family enjoyed visiting Disney World last summer.
In the March 6 post, she says she was excited for her trip to the so-called happiest place on earth and to see the new "Beauty and the Beast" movie with her daughter. But that all changed when the mommy blogger found out that the character LeFou (Josh Gad), Gaston's sidekick, would be explicitly gay.
Though the so-called "gay moment" is small in the movie, it was enough to cause controversy from the religious right and even got a strict rating in Russia.
Poston apparently shared similar feelings over the gay content and decided to protest by canceling her plans to Disney. The blogger said if Disney nixed the "gay moment" she'd immediately re-book her trip.
For now, however, the Poston family plans to spend a wonderful vacation in - Branson, Missouri this summer.
The Sun reports Twitter users were quick to slam Poston over her position, with one user reportedly writing, "You're no different to those who have discriminated towards races, religion and the like in the past."
In another post, Poston says she received hate mail after her post:
Yesterday, I wrote a post about our personal beliefs and convictions regarding Disney's LGBT agenda. I had no idea that it would go further than the small numbers than I normally receive. But it did. And I'm completely shocked.
With tear-filled eyes and a broken heart I read through the nearly 350 Facebook comments, messages, and emails from people who don't agree with me. They cursed me, called me terrible things, and even said things about my children.
Yet the same people who called me a bigot, hateful, and intolerant, are now making crude comments about my family and I based upon a single post they read and interpreted to be hate-filled.
