Watch: Like the Rest of Us, Kate McKinnon Says 'Drag Race' is 'My Whole Life'
READ TIME: 1 MIN.
While promoting her new comedy "Rough Night" co-starring Scarlett Johansson, "SNL" star Kate McKinnon confessed something deeply personal: "'Drag Race is my whole life," she said. Same!
Her praise for the hit reality show, and drag in general, came while being interview by drag queen Paige Turner with her "Rough Night" co-stars, including Johansson, Zoe Kravitz, Jillian Bell and Ilana Glazer.
Turner noted that "RuPaul's Drag Race" winner Bob the Drag queen makes a cameo in "Rough Night" and that "drag queens are popping up more and more in our culture. Are you fans of drag yourself?"
Both Glazer and McKinnon perked up, with McKinnon breathing heavily and making her confession.
"What do you respond to the most - as a real woman - about drag?" Turner asks.
"I think it's the roots in musical theater...I don't know why it tickles me so much and why it has become so important in my life and my entire heart," she explains. But it just is."
"You're going to make me cry!" Turner adds.

"Rough Night" opens in theaters today.
