Gay Porn Star Followed by Ousted White House Communications Director Speaks Out

To say that newly minted White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci has had an eventful first week on the job would be a gross understatement.

Following the not-so-surprising ouster of his predecessor, Sean Spicer, Scaramucci made headlines for a profanity-laced interview with The New Yorker magazine that colorfully described his new White House colleague Steve Bannon as trying to "suck his own cock." Then there was the revelation that his wife of three years filed for divorce in early July and gave birth to their son while "The Mooch" was wrangling President Trump through a now infamous speech at a Boy Scouts Jamboree.

But perhaps the most bizarre Scaramucci-related news item last week came (as so much news in Trumpland does) in the form of a tweet from glasses-wearing gay porn model Blake Mitchell, who reported that the new White House chief spin doctor was one of his over 93,000 followers on Twitter.

Posting a screen grab of Scaramucci's Twitter page on Thursday that said "@Scaramucci Follows you," Mitchell tweeted "Wait... what?"

World of Wonder immediately snarked: "Suddenly Scaramucci's�crack about�Bannon�sucking his own cock takes on a whole new meaning..."

The Los Angeles Blade caught up with Mitchell to get his take on his newly-discovered fan.

"I posted the screenshot that showed that he was following me," Mitchell told The LA Blade. "He was in a Twitter 'Moments' slideshow, and I clicked on his profile inside that. When I saw he was following me, my reaction was exactly what I posted online - Wait...what?"

Mitchell, who admitted (without divulging names) to having other famous followers on Twitter, told the LA Blade: " ...Anthony Scaramucci is the most surprising follower I have."

"I had never heard of him until he was appointed, but I will say I think his tweeting is a little juvenile," Blake Mitchell told the Blade.
