Watch: Mario Cantone Gives Final Word as 'The Mooch'

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

"Politics is no place for good looking people. So I had to go," is one of the many hilarious quips from comedian Mario Cantone's final turn as former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci.

Cantone, whose spot-on impersonation of "The Mooch" on Comedy Central's "The President Show" last week drew raves during the beleaguered Wall Street financier's brief stint in Washington, delivered a side-splitting two-minute farewell video, which was posted to The New York Times' Opinion Section on social media Tuesday. The video quickly garnered over 130,000 views online.

Scaramucci was let go Monday from his position as White House communications director after 10 days on the job. During his brief tenure he created headlines for himself after a profanity-laced interview with the New Yorker quoted him calling former Trump administration chief of staff Reince Priebus "a paranoid schizophrenic" and saying that he wasn't "trying to suck my own cock" like White House senior advisor Steve Bannon.
