Today on 'Megyn Kelly Today': Megyn Kelly Reveals Herself as a Goldie Hawn Stan

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Today on "Megyn Kelly Today," Megyn Kelly opened her show by discussing the terrorist attack in New York City Tuesday. After calling the first amendment "beautiful," she later transitioned to her prerecorded interview with Goldie Hawn, saying she has the "it" factor.

In the prerecorded interview, Megyn proved to be a Goldie stan. She said Goldie's "laughter is contagious" and she has been a "bright light in Hollywood for years." Megyn also confessed she had a "high school obsession" with "Overboard" and knew lines by heart.

When speaking to Goldie in the prerecorded interview, Megyn quoted from "Overboard." She then told Goldie she's "fangirling" over her.

They then discussed MindUp, an organization that promotes children learning how to meditate. Later, they talked about Goldie's family and she said "mothering" is difficult.

"It's not hard being famous but it is hard mothering correctly - that's hard," Goldie said. "Because you don't want to make a mistake and we all do. We do."

She went on to say her family has no secrets and that they "love to be together. It's like our favorite thing ever."

"Our truth is right there on the table there's no secrets. We don't abide or tolerate secrets," she told Megyn.

Goldie went on to talk about her husband Kurt Russell, saying he's "fascinating, beautiful, complex, maddening, sexy and sexual - often times the grass looks greener on the other side but it never did to me."

Megyn then had a human interest story about two friends, Patrick Gray and Justin Skeesuck, who uses a wheelchair due to a neuromuscular disease. Patrick pushed Skeesuck 500 miles in his wheelchair along Spain's Camino de Santiago trail.

Next up, Megyn revealed the Winter Olympics are 100 days from today. She welcomed three medalists to her show, including out skier Gus Kenworthy.

After that, Megyn spoke with Lauren Bush Lauren. Megyn said the name "Laura Bush Lauren" several times. Lauren Bush Lauren was on the show to promote her handbags, which will help "put a dent in the world's hunger problem."

Lauren Bush Lauren talked about her grandfather, former President George Bush and uncle, former President George W. Bush.

"How did you make the connection between bags and feeding the country?" Megyn asked Lauren Bush Lauren.

Megyn later went there and asked Lauren Bush Lauren about her name. (Lauren Bush Lauren is married to David Lauren, the youngest son of American fashion designer Ralph Lauren.)

"I've owned the Lauren Bush Lauren," Lauren Bush Lauren said. "And I kept the Bush in there so I'm not just Lauren Lauren."

As Megyn closed her show, she spoke with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, where it was declared "Wine Wednesday." Megyn then accidentally called Hoda "Hoda Lee."

Megyn then surprised an audience member with a visit to Kathie Gifford and Hoda's set. She then teased tomorrow's show, "fashion through the decades" and then struck a pose.
