It's been called everything from "Christmas in the Upside Down" to "It's beginning to look a lot like Mordor." First Lady Melania Trump's spooky holiday d�cor for the White House is blowing up the internet.

According to a statement released by the White House on Monday, "The First Family will celebrate their first Christmas in the White House with a nod to tradition. This year's theme, "Time-Honored Traditions" was designed by First Lady Melania Trump to pay respect to 200 years of holiday traditions at the White House."

And while Mrs. Trump's vision has been realized with certain rooms of the White House set up to pay homage to past presidents and holiday traditions, it was a photograph of a long hallway festooned with white branches and spooky dramatic up-lighting that caught everyone's attention.

Say what you want about Trump. For a president who campaigned on the promise of having everyone saying "Merry Christmas" again, he's over-delivered by paying a nod to Halloween as well.
