Is it a boy or is it a girl?

After revealing last month that he's going to be a father, Andy Cohen revealed during his 2019 New Year's Eve ceremony on CNN with BFF Anderson Cooper the gender of his baby.

During the program, Cooper told viewers that they've "had an amazing year...importantly, just the other day Andy announced that in the new year – very soon – he's going to become a father."

"Obviously I've known about this for a long time," Cooper added.

"I remember last year standing here thinking, 'Wow. Will my baby be born next year?'" Cohen added.

"I don't know if you want to announce it yet but, I know the answer to this, but do you want to announce the sex of the child?" Cooper asked Cohen.

"It's a boy! And I got to tell you something I cannot wait to meet this boy," the Bravo host said.

Cooper then joked by asking if the baby will have "salt and pepper hair."

Cohen then opened up about using a surrogate, saying that when he and Cooper were growing up he "never thought it would be possible as a gay man to grow up and have a family.

"Here we are in 2018 almost 19 and anything is possible. I'm so grateful to a wonderful surrogate I'm working with," he added.

Cooper later pressed his friend for a name but he remained tight lipped.

The duo then congratulated Ricky Martin and his husband who recently welcomed a baby girl.

"All the gays are having babies! Here we are, 2019!" Cohen said.
