Lawsuit: Ex Assistant Alleges Bullying, Claims Faye Dunaway Called Him 'Little Homosexual Boy'

Fay Dunaway's former personal assistant has filed a lawsuit in New York City and alleges the iconic actress subjected him to bullying and called him "a little homosexual boy" before he was fired, according to Page Six.

Michael Rocha, who is openly gay, says in his lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court that he began working as Dunaway's personal assistant for the Broadway-bound play "Tea at Five" on April 5 in Boston and was responsible for shopping, helping her take medication, arranging her schedule, and getting her to and from rehearsals.

In his suit, Rocha alleges the Oscar winner "regularly and relentlessly subjected plaintiff to abusive demeaning tirades" and used his sexuality to "demean and humiliate him at work." He goes on to say that on May 2, Dunaway, 78, called Rocha and other employees "little gay people" and later that month called him "a little homosexual boy." Rocha, who was paid $1,500 a week for his work, claims to have a recording of the comment, according to the suit cited by Page Six.

Rocha said he reported the incident to the general manager and general council for the play, where Dunaway plays Katherine Hepburn, and claims he gave the recording to them. Two weeks later on June 12, Rocha was fired and was allegedly told that Dunaway "is not comfortable with you anymore," according to his lawsuit.

It was reported last month that Dunaway was fired from "Tea at Five," which ran in Boston, over erratic behavior. Duanway allegedly slapped crew members and threw things at them while they tried to fit her for a wig. Read more about that by clicking here.
