Viral Video Captures an Empty New York Set Against Cuomo's Uplifting Words
READ TIME: 1 MIN.
President Trump continues to be amazed by the sight of an empty Fifth Avenue. And, for once, he's right. The images of one of the world's greatest cities with empty streets are difficult to process.
But a video by photographer Tanya Stoliarova captures the haunting beauty of the city in stress set against the uplifting words of Governor Andrew Cuomo as to how smart and tough New Yorkers are.
'Bring down that anxiety, bring down that fear, bring down that paranoia. It's not about 95 per cent of us,' Cuomo said in the speech from March 24.
'And we're going to get through it because we are New York and because we've dealt with a lot of things, and because we are smart. You have to be smart to make it in New York.
'And we are resourceful, and we are showing how resourceful we are. And because we are united, and when you are united, there is nothing you can't do. And because we are New York tough. We are tough.'
