Lambda Literary Award Winners to Be Announced June 1

Considered the Oscars of queer publishing, the annual Lambda Literary Awards were not held in person this year, but announced on June 1 on the Foundation's website.

"Out of an abundance of caution in light of COVID-19, we have come to the heart-wrenching decision to not hold an in-person Lambda Literary Awards ceremony this June in New York City," the Foundation posted on its website.

"In the meantime, we hope that in lieu of a ticket, you will consider making a donation to Lambda Literary. Your support will help us continue our work to honor this year's finalists and winners."

This year's winners and finalists offer an expansive to-read list of fiction, memoir, poetry, mystery, science fiction, erotica and other genres in gay, lesbian, bisexual, and trans categories.

Additionally, ane Wagner received Lambda Literary's 2020 Visionary Award, Jericho Brown received the Trustee Award, and Brian Lam received the Publishing Professional Award. Amonf the Lammy winners:
