For those who prefer to dive straight into the wilderness can opt to travel to Wimborne, Christchurch, and Poole which houses a good number of camping options. These sites are about less than half an hour's journey from Bournemouth and great for those who are yearning for a more hands-on camping experience.

Combesgate and Putsboroguh are the popular surfing spots for experienced surfers, and those looking for a challenge may consider visiting these places. Croyde, situated opposite Bagg Point, is a surf village that has both surfing and camping facilities for those who wish to skip on the transit from place to place.

Bude

Located in the west, Bude has its own selection of beaches known for its mild climate.

Across the river is a spot for those who wish to pitch their own tent. Caravan accommodations are aplenty and the small villages also offer accommodations for those who prefer to stay close to civilization.

Crooklets, north of Bude, is the preferred spot for seasoned surfers.

Newquay

Despite being most commonly known as a party spot, Newquay has developed its own offerings of surfing and camping spots for people looking for a more wholesome alternative to nightlife entertainment.

Right outside its town center is a range of multiple camping spots that are away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The idyllic atmosphere is great for those who wish to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Additionally, Newquay is home to several beaches great for surfing. Fistral is the most prominent spot in the area and a safe choice for a group of surfers of differing abilities. Sennen

Do take note that camping facilities in Sennen are not as available as the other locations above.
