READ TIME: 1 MIN.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Madonna revealed she's working on a screenplay with "Juno" writer Diablo Cody.
The pop star shared a black-and-white video featuring herself and the Oscar winner working on their project.
"The details discussed include a description of one of Madonna's ensembles from her iconic Blonde Ambition tour. Could she be plotting her own biopic?" Entertainment Weekly writes.
Captioning the post, Madonna wrote: "When you're stuck in a house with multiple injuries what do you do.? ...........Write a Screenplay with Diablo Cody about.............."
In the clip, Madonna is seen dictating scenes to Cody: "All these details are important!" she yells. Later on in the clip, Madonna is eating nuts, sticks two up her nose and then eats them.
This wouldn't be Madonna's first time writing for the movies. She wrote the script and directed her 2011 film "W.E." and cowrote and directed "Filth and Wisdom" in 2005. She also starred in films like "Evita," "Dick Tracy," "The Next Best Thing" and more.
News of the screenplay comes not long after Variety reported Madonna is now a "free agent" as her contract with Interscope Records expired after a decade, though she has yet to confirm the split with the label.
