With Rumors Swirling He's Joining Marvel Universe, Shia LaBeouf Goes Jogging Again (Jockless)

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Shia LaBoeuf went jogging Thursday and took some time to pose for the paparazzi. It appears that he also chose not to wear any underwear again, which makes us wonder if he's trolling his fans. Scroll down to the second pic at this link.

And check out this one below:

In other Shia LaBoeuf news, his campaign to play an openly gay Marvel character in an upcoming film appears to be paying off.

"Over the weekend, WGTC brought you the news that Shia LaBeouf is being eyed for the role of Iceman and now, trusted insider Daniel Richtman has seemingly backed up our scoop, teasing the same thing on his Twitter account," We Got This Covered writes.

Earlier this week out actor Colton Haynes sent out a tweet that hinted that he was interested in playing the role.

"On Colton Haynes' post, there's a GIF of Ashmore's appearance in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past's Rogue Cut,' with Iceman in his full ice form and building a wall to block incoming Sentinels," reports Cinema Blend.

And Twitter responded, mostly saying that a LGBTQ-identified actor should play the role:

Others speculate that a better fit for LaBoeuf in the Marvel Universe may be Wolverine now that Hugh Jackman has decided not to return to the role. "Recently, it was rumored that Shia LaBeouf was being looked at to play Iceman, and while that hasn't been officially confirmed in any way whatsoever, what if the Transformers actor was selected to play Wolverine instead?" writes Cinema Blend.

Graphic artist BossLogic went as far as to imagine LaBoeuf in the role.

And the 34-year-old-actor, whose recent film "The Tax Collector" topped the box office last week despite atrocious reviews, has joined the all-star cast for a virtual reading of the 1982 cult film "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," which Variety calls the "biggest all-star summer movie event of 2020."

Variety adds that the "virtual live table read will be unrehearsed, which means it should be a glorious, anything-goes event with an all-star roster including Cook, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, Morgan Freeman, Henry Golding, Shia LaBeouf and Spicoli himself, Sean Penn (though he won't be playing the stoner surfer – more on that later). Additional casting will be unveiled shortly. Heckerling and Crowe will make a special introduction at the top of the event. To find out who will be playing who, viewers will have to tune into the live event."

The event will take place on August 20 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on CORE's official Facebook page and TikTok. For more information, visit the CORE Facebook page.
