Charli XCX, Rihanna, Rita Ora & More Remember Late Producer, Musician Sophie

Charli XCX, Rihanna, Rita Ora and more are paying tribute to Sophie, the producer and musician who died on Saturday after a sudden fall. She was 34.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, Charli XCX remembered Sophie, who was a close friend and frequent collaborator of the singer, with a lengthy note to fans.
"It's really hard for me to sum up the special connection I felt with such an amazing person who completely changed my life," she wrote. "There are so many memories, so many small details, so many different views and incredible feelings and stories. It's impossible to summarize the journey I went on with Sophie."
She later added: "She taught me so much about myself without even realizing. I wish I had told her more how special she was, not just her music, but her as a person. I love you and I will never forget you Sophie."
Charli and Sophie worked on the singer's "Vroom Vroom" EP in 2016 as well as her 2017 "Number 1 Angel" EP. The two worked on a number of unreleased songs as well.
Rihanna, who worked with Sophie on her last album "Anti," shared photos of herself with the producer, writing "Still can't believe this. Rest Peacefully Sophie."
Other musicians including Rita Ora, FKA twigs, Grimes, Sam Smith, Rina Sawayama, rapper Vince Staples, singer Christine and the Queens, singer Phoebe Bridgers, experimental artist Arca, producer Danny L Harle, musician Flying Lotus, producer Blood Pop, rapper CupcakKe, producer Jack Antonoff, Chic's Nile Rodgers, Billie Eilish's producer/brother Finneas and more shared their condolences.
As previously reported, Sophie died early Saturday morning after a fall in Athens, Greece while she was trying to look at the full moon. Nominated for a Grammy for her debut album "Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides," worked with a number of musicians, including Madonna, Charli XCX and A.G. Cook, the founder of the record label PC Music. In 2017, Sophie came out as a trans woman when releasing her single "It's Okay to Cry" where she used her image and undistorted vocals for the first time.
