Madonna and Johnny Depp Make Cameos at Trump's Impeachment

Donald Trump's impeachment lawyer Michael T. van der Veen defended his client in the best Sean Hannity style on Friday by citing instances where Democrats and progressive politicians used incendiary rhetoric in speeches in recent years.
"The defense attorney presented a montage of clips showing Democratic politicians and public figures condemning Trump – often using proactive language such as, 'I feel like punching him,'" reports MediaLite.
But amongst the public figures van der Veen showed clips of were Madonna and Johnny Depp – neither of whom have ever been elected public officials. Depp is seen at Britain's 2017 Glastonbury music festival where he said: "When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?" His remark was roundly condemned by those on both sides of the political spectrum.
The footage also showed a video of Madonna saying, "I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House," while at the 2017 Women's March in Washington, DC.
"The video did not include her full quote: 'Yes, I'm angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House. But I know that this won't change anything. We cannot fall into despair,' writes MediaLite.
