'I Got There' – Luke Evans Shows Off His New and Improved Abs

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

When not working, Hollywood hunk Luke Evans has been working out, as evidenced by before and after pics posted on Instagram.

He also has over the past few months been sharing pics of his beach dates with various unknown buds in Australia and Florida.

The 41-year old's transformation "took place over eight months from last June to the end of February this year," reports the Daily Mail. He captioned his pics: "8 months of work but I got there. June 2020 - February 2021."

While Evans was in good shape in the first pic, the second shows his evolving six-pack, as well as a grown-out mustache.

The pics came the same week Evans underwent a dental procedure for his role in "The Coachman," the new live-action remake of "Pinocchio," where he will be playing a new Disney villain, adds the DM. Evans had worked with special effects teeth manufacturer Chris Lyons on two previous occasions, his titular role in 2014's "Dracula Untold" and the 2017 live-action remake of "Beauty and the Beast" in which he played Gaston.

Evans recently finished filming the mini-series "Nine Perfect Strangers" in Australia, in which he plays a gay divorce lawyer, saying it was "nice" to portray a gay character on screen for the first time.

"It was a lovely character to delve into and to calibrate and deliver this complex person. But, yes, it was nice to play a gay character after all these years of doing roles on stage and screen."

While on a beach date with a mysterious hunk while in Australia last month, he showed off a recently inked bird tattoo on his upper thigh.

In January Evans acknowledged he had broken up with art director boyfriend Rafael Olarra, along with an Instagram post addressing those reporting on him.

"Just to very clear, no one, I repeat, no one, knows what is going on in my personal life apart from me," he wrote in his Instagram Stories. "If they choose to create sensational stories about my personal life, that is their choice, they want to get hits to their page, I get it."

Asked at the time if he was single by London's The Sunday Times, Evans said: "It is what it is."
