READ TIME: 3 MIN.

The following is a press release from the Austin and Nashville LGBT Chambers of Commerce:

The Austin and Nashville LGBT Chambers of Commerce are again joining forces to produce the second "Pride in Local Music," a livestream event, celebrating local music through the rainbow heartbeat of two great music cities. Presented by Dell Technologies with support from Tito's Handmade Vodka, this dynamic experience will close out Pride Month on Wednesday, June 30, at 6:00 p.m. CST online at PrideInLocalMusic.com.

Co-hosted by Nashville's Shelly Fairchild and Austin's Patrice Pike, the evening will feature musical performances from five local artists at iconic venues located in both cities. Nashville musicians include Alanna Royale, Adam Mac, John Tucker, The Blam Blams, and Bantug. Austin performers include Patrice Pike, The Kenny Williams Trio, P1nkstar, Pleasure Venom, and Tina G.

Locations for performances include the world-famous Ryman Auditorium, The Groove, The Basement East in Nashville, the legendary Continental Club, Tito's Vodka's new storefront stage Love, Tito's, and the W Hotel in Austin.

"After the success of Pride in Local Music last year, the way it brought together the community, our members, and our cities, all while celebrating Pride and LGBTQ+ artists; we were thrilled to bring it back and make it even bigger. This is a wonderful way to cap Pride month and support the work of the LGBT Chambers," said Joe Woolley, CEO of the Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to streaming via PrideInLocalMusic.com, the program can be accessed on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The concert will be FREE, but viewers are asked to consider a donation that will benefit education initiatives for both the Austin and Nashville Chambers. Viewing parties will be offered throughout each city for those wanting to venture out of their house. More information can be found online.

Funds raised by "Pride in Local Music" will support the Austin LGBT Chamber Education Fund and the Nashville LGBT Chamber Foundation.

"The music and entertainment industry are a vital component of the LGBTQ+ business community," said Tina Cannon, executive director of Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce. "Music Venues and performing arts spaces were among the first to be closed and will be among the last to reopen, which is why we feel highlighting this industry is so important at this time. Working together with Nashville, we are combining the talent of two of the greatest musical communities in the world to produce an amazing live show that directly supports LGBTQ+ artists."

The entire event is made possible by the generous support from the presenting sponsor Dell Technologies, Tito's Handmade Vodka, Visit Austin and Visit Music City. The festival is being produced by Good Neighbor Festivals and Make Every Media, with support from Austin LGBT Chamber volunteer Todd Hogan-Sanchez.
