In a quick 11-second tweet that looked like some Technicolored promo for "American Horror Story," BBC Three promoted the upcoming season of "RuPaul's Drag Race UK," which will the third for the ever-expanding franchise.

"It's official, #DragRaceUK Series 3 is coming THIS AUTUMN!" reads the tweet.

In the video, "clips of the Queens' hands looking as extra as expected with big jewels, colourful nails and lots of glitter" are seen with the words 'Release the Queens." This is followed by "Autumn 2021," reports Digital Spy

"In fact, this means that the new series is coming just a few months after the second season ended, withthe season two finale airing in March this year, where Scottish Queen Lawrence Chaney took hold of the jewel-encrusted sceptre,"

When the show returns, there will be 12 queens competing over 10 episodes.

Season Three was "filmed earlier this year in Manchester, and fans are gagging to know just who will be stepping out onto the runway," writes Pink News.

The names of the contestants are yet to be released, save for Victoria Green, who was invited back after not being able to return to Season Two due to COVID after the show resumed filming after a seven-month delay.

There have been a number of leaks about the upcoming season, Pink News adds. Joining the judging panel is said to be Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

"Also, in genuinely gag-worthy news, it was reported last month thatElton John would make a special appearance– though he won't be cosying up to RuPaul, instead joining the queens via video link," writes Pink News.

"Hard facts are thin on the ground other than that, but we're expecting that RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Alan Carr and Graham Norton will all be back. We're also fairly certain there'll be drag queens involved."

The date the new season will be launched has yet to be announced.
