'Is Tucker Carlson the 'Worst Human Being Known to Mankind?' Montana Man Tells Him So.

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

When Tucker Carlson visited a Montana fishing supply store on Friday, he was likely expecting an echo chamber of toxic, anti-vaccine rhetoric, but instead was told by a fisherman and hunter named Tom Bailey telling him, "You are the worst human being known to man. I want you to know that," reports the Daily Mail.

In response, Carlson says. "I appreciate that.I appreciate that."

Bailey posted the 22-second video to his Instagram account on Saturday where it has been seen by nearly 150,000.

In his confrontation to Carlson, Bailey continues, "What you have done to everybody else in this state, to the United States, to everyone else in this world. What you have done to families, what you have done to everybody else in this world. I don't care that your daughter is here. What you've done to people's families–"

Early in the confrontation, Carlson tells Bailey, "My daughter is here," to which Bailey says, "I don't care man."

When made aware that he is being filmed, Carlson gives a grin and admonishes Bailey. 'Settle down son,' to which Bailey says, "Son? Don't call me son," before Carlson walks away with Bailey trying to follow him as the video ends.

In his Instagram post, Bailey writes: "It's not everyday you get to tell someone they are the worst person in the world and really mean it! What an asshole! This man has killed more people with vaccine misinformation, he has supported extreme racism, he is a fascist and does more to rip this country apart than anyone that calls themselves an American."

Slate reported that the confrontation took place at a sporting goods store called Dan Bailey's Outdoor Company, which, strangely enough, has nothing to do with the man who confronted Carlson even though they share a name

The store posted astatement on its website:

On July 23rd, a well-known television personality, Tucker Carlson, was affronted while shopping at Dan Bailey's Outdoor Company. Coincidentally, the person engaging Mr. Carlson was a local resident named Dan Bailey. This person has no affiliation with our business, other than he shares the same name as our founder, who passed away in 1982. To be clear, we treat every customer equally and respectfully. Our staff was professional and cordial to Mr. Carlson, as we are with all of our customers."
