Spanish Rapper Arkano Comes Out as Bisexual: 'I Am Open To Everything'

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Spanish rapper Arkano came opened up about his sexuality this week. The musician is appearing as a contestant on the Spanish cooking competition show "MasterChef Celebrity 6" and in a "recent episode of the cooking competition, the 27-year-old revealed to fellow contestant Eduardo Navarrete that he is 'open-minded' when it comes to sexuality and dating," Instinct Magazine reports.

The question came up when a viewer inquired about an Instagram post Arkano made this summer where he seen posing shirtless next to a rainbow flag. Navarrete then asked him about using Tinder.

"But then on Tinder, do you have only girls on?" he asked. "I only heard things.I saw you with a flag and I thought that maybe you could be gay-friendly or bisexual."

"Yes, but on Tinder I only have girls. Despite that, I have done everything. I am open to everything," Arkano then responded.

Arkano also shared that he's "very excited to get married, look at the other person, and say, 'I love you. It was you.' Who doesn't want that?"

But is Arkano gay-baiting? Instinct magazine brought up that possibility by recalling how singer Aaron Carter got a career boost when he said he was romantically involved with a man, only to later say that his bisexuality was in the past and he was only dating women.

Arkano kisses Dtoke at the 2016 Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos

Arkano is no-stranger to same-sex controversy. While competing against rapper Dtoke in the 2016 RedBull Batalla de los Gallos, a contest amongst Spanish-speaking freestylers, Arkano planted a kiss on Dtoke during the semi-finals, a move that Red Bull says "completely changed the game." Arkano went on to win against the favorite Tom Crowley.

He also made headlines in 2016 for making theGuinness World Recordfor non-stop rapping and rhyming for 24 hours, 34 minutes, and 27 seconds, Vibe reports.

"The rapper's ambitious trial began on Oct. 28 in Madrid's central Puerta del Sol square before thousands of people, according toreports," adds Vibe. "Arkano, who is known for addressing political issues in his raps, also spit about social concernsduring his day-long freestyle. What's more, he onlyallowed himself three-second water breaks in between rhymes."
