Should elementary school students go to a gay bar on a field trip?

The question was raised after a Florida school board member chaperoned a group of elementary students to visit a Fort Lauderdale gay bar reports Shore News Network.

"Broward County school board member Sarah Leonardi is under fire for chaperoning a class trip for students at Wilton Manor Elementary School to Rosie's Bar and Grill. Rosies is a well known gay bar, which describes itself as, 'Busy gay-friendly spot luring diners with a festive patio, Sunday brunch & quirky comfort-food menu in Wilton Manors,'" the newspaper writes.

She doubled-down on the visit with a tweet.

"I was SO honored to be invited to chaperone @WiltonManorsES's field trip to the incredible Rosie's! The students and I had a fun walk over and learned a lot about our community! A huge thank you to @RosiesBnG for hosting this special field trip every year!"

But many felt differently in response by pointing out the sexual innuendos of the names found on menu items that they deemed inappropriate for the students. These included Sweaty Lovin', Pisa Envy, Naked Sweaty Lovin', the Miley High burger, the Young Ranch Hand, and a full menu of 'Big Girl Burgers'.

Some saw this as trolling by the Right:??

But many criticized the visit as being inappropriate:
