Did Ryan Phillippe Come Out with Gay Holiday Snap?

No, Ryan Phillippe says he's not gay, but fans continue to wonder.
And he appears to be teasing them when he posted a snap to his instagram account of himself with another man resting underneath a Christmas tree. With the pic, many were convinced that the 47-year-old "Cruel Intentions" star, who shares two children with actress Reese Witherspoon, was quietly coming out.
On the photo Philleppe captioned, "Merry Christmas from our house to yours????," one user commented, "Wait he came out? I am confused ????" Another user offered their congratulations, saying, "So happy you're living your truth! ????????"
It turns out it was a prank. Clearing up the confusion, Philleppe's friend in the photo, Matt Sinn, shared a snapshot of both of their girlfriends recreating the shot next to the tree.
He captioned the photo with: "No, Ryan Phillippe didn't come out. Here are the girlfriends."
