Colton Underwood is going from "The Bachelor" to the perils of the Panama jungle as one of several celebs faced with surviving on CBS' new show "Beyond the Edge."

A total of nine celebrities, including Underwood, country superstar Lauren Alaina, NFL legend Ray Lewis, country music star Craig Morgan, NBA star Metta World Peace, model Paulina Porizkova, NFL great Mike Singletary, Jodie Sweetin of "Full House" and Eboni K. Williams of "Real Housewives" fame will be put to the test mentally and physically as they compete to raise money for their favorite charities.

The celebs are raising money for causes such as The Next Door charity, Operation Finally Home and the Johns Hopkins Children's Center.

Underwood, who recently celebrated his birthday and buying a $3 million-house with his boyfriend, chose to raise money for his own charity, Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation.

"Beyond the Edge" is described as the most "intense celebrity adventure ever attempted." Contestants will need to rely on "teamwork, perseverance and finding the inner strength they never knew they possessed can get them through another day and raise money for their chosen charities."

Sheesh!
